What if a builder made a pedal with the chip mounted on the outside, then we all learned to program and burn our own chips? Then we could share our own original algos with each other. I guess that's the spin forum.

We would have to come up with a set of parameters that would be consistent across the board. Technically, we could put other chips in the pedal too. I guess we could just use the bq.
