I've been a repeat customer of Joe's (affordable goods). He was instrumental in my learning to not-suck-at-wah, find what works for me.
I enjoyed this amusing, silly misunderstanding.
WB Joe. On this forum we take the piss, often replacing piss with jizz and juvenile snickering. It's pretty great.
This is not the forum with an active community of users who are eager, let alone responsive to joining the $1000 wah pedal-as-art club.
Just not something that will be popular with the locals here. Also fwiw from my vantage, it's the clientele (who are into that sort of fancy showpiece) being mocked, as opposed to the builder.

Anyway, this place is made up of diverse, well-meaning music creeps who could probably stand to lighten up on a bad day...but this ragtag collection of weirdos has heart (and piss, vinegar too) and one of the best ways to bond and enjoy life is through ***inappropriate humor*** so I encourage everyone to keep that in mind.
Sometimes it's like we're all peaking on some sort of psychedelic; and it's extremely difficult to get mixed up in a messy altercation.
Here doomers can and do coexist with jam banders and arty proglords, also noisy boys who fancy ambient gals.
This is like the basement rave of gear forums, cept with cooler sound systems and better taste in music

I was going to reference ILF always taking the piss but this sums it up nicely. And I think we always mock folks who buy things at prices that our BST forum would laugh into non-existence.
