I imagine the blend pot is what they're using to control the depth of the affected signal.
That's a shame, would've been awesome to have a blend knob, ramp up the resonance and play over a pitch modulated tone.
What do you reckon the difference between range and filter expression modes is? Filter = resonance? Not sold on their terminology here.

Well it's Friday the 13th, and I'm still holding onto late hopes that something cool will leak, in this the last weekend before NAMM. In the meantime I've cobbled together a list of 20 products and stories I'll be personally monitoring this year.

#1 unnamed Hologram pedal

#2 EQD time-based modulation pedal at winter NAMM

#3 golden Chase Bliss pedal (dirt, verb, alchemy?)

#4 WMD Geiger Counter Pro

#5 new Catalinbread pedals

#6 miscellaneous NAMM stompbox surprises (delay, modulation, verb, filters, drive)

#7 Fairfield vibrato (Shallow Water?)

#8 Dogmatek Arctic Wolf

#9 a 2017 Dave Smith synthesizer

#10 Dreadbox Nyx

#11 a new synth from another big builder (Korg, Yamaha, Waldorf, Moog)

#12 Empress Superdelay 2

#13 Empress Zoia

#14 EHX Blurst filter

#15 a Strymon offering that partially redeems them for the dad rock Riverside

#16 untitled Eventide pedal

#17 more EQD DSP pedals in the second half of 2017

#18 additional Chase Bliss goodies in 2017

#19 fresh guitar models from US amp builder Supro

#20 new OBNE gear

I failed to mention the Ventris in my previous list of 20 stories/products. (*whoops*) Here's another pic to go with a second Sonicsmith promo shot.

I'm sorry...

100% on board with the Filther though. That's outright genius naming

The nemesis got me the closest to getting in on that, was hoping for a reverb but I just.. don't want to own that thing :/
This plus all the messing with computers to get fun sounds. Can't be bothered with that.

These guys have never heard of an MS20?
Seriously though, this looks awesome. Just hope it sounds a million miles better than the Mothership.

What if Satan and the Karate Kid had a farting contest in a Mississippi roadhouse and Walter Hill filmed it?
