There's this cool older guy in my office -- into good music and totally used to (still?) party. Last week I said that something reminded me of Spinal Tap (the flower people scene) and he told me he's never seen it. I said: What the fuck, Charlie!

He promised to watch it over Christmas break. :D

Signed the papers for a new job today! Gonna start in January. A lot more resposibility than I've had before but that just gets me psyched up about it. Also, it'll take me roughly 30 mins to get there form either my or my girlfriends place, as compared to the last job I had which was 30mins from me but 1h 30mins from my gf. Pay is decent (i got what I asked for), I've got a written promise for time off in march so I can go on tour, but most of all I really think I'm gonna enjoy working there (and don't think my bosses to be are the type of people who hassle their employees). I'm super happy about it!

No Star Wars can never ever be as bad as Episode I. As long as there's no Jarjar it's good in my book
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

It's really okay, to like bad things. I even have a semi un-ironic love for the Matrix sequels. Though the key difference between the SW Prequels the Matrix movies and even though they're both pretty shitty, no one seems like they even gave a shit about the making the Prequels. I can handle bullshit if its served with integrity. :idk:

Let me rephrase. As long as we do not hear Jarjar commenting constantly, I'm good.

i will say out of all the SW prequels, episode 1 was the most like the first three and less of a CGI DEATH EXPLOSSIONNNN

Ep. 1 was my introduction to Star Wars, so I hold some sentimentality for it over the others.
That being said, I think Empire has long been my favourite. :idk:

Likewise, the experience of seeing Episode 1 in the theater on opening night was amazing. Everyone was so excited! When the Dolby sound went and the Lucas logo came up the applause was deafening! Doesn't matter that it isn't a great movie, I like it because I had fun.
