The one drop of water in scotch thing is pretty crazy, but so true. First time I ever tried that, I couldn't believe it.

With your mouth? I mean right?jrfox92 wrote:Question: how do I drink Liqueur?
The scotch is self-explanatory, but I have no fucking clue whether I'm supposed to drink it (edit: the Liqueur) straight or mix it with something.
I guess you could take shots in the anus as well. There's lots of nerve endings there, so it might make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

And I just realized that I essentially outed myself as your secret Satan with that post. That's what happens when you're being antisocial and drink (the Dalmore 12. Nice, but not much character) and ILF. So, hi btw, glad you're enjoying everything.jrfox92 wrote:The taste is very odd (in a good way). It's hard to describe. An interestingly sweet taste that's offset by a smoothness.doommeow wrote:The Bjork, idk. I've got a bottle but haven't opened it - and admittedly bought it solely because of the name.
I've nearly finished the scotch.
Drank the Vamplifier (my dad shied away from it after a taste because of how bitter it was) almost immediately after opening.
I'm not a beer person at all. Can't stand it. The Vamplifier was chosen solely for its name and semi demonic theme, being sold as $0.99 special at theme park inspired discount grocery store.
And so I can tell the mrs - how are the cookies?

Re: ILF Secret Santa 2016
I know that many of us are in this boat but...
As somebody who has a tenuous relationship with his family...
I have been regularly drug around (as a child) for "traditions" with extended families and have no strong, positive, lasting memories of the holidays...
This is an oddly tough time of year for me. I'm generally a very positive guy and not much bugs me but I'm thinking about things in a slightly different context. Due to fatherhood I've had the last six weeks off of work and I'm not jaded about the holidays and I'm trying to start traditions of my own, drama free of extended families.
My wife and I decided that every Christmas Eve were exchanging books with one another and with our little one. I'm excited and about to go upstairs and do some reading while lounging with the dog as wife and baby sleep.
I wanted to extend my sincerest and deepest gratitude to I love fuzz and the community it has created. I look forward to Secret Santa here every year because a complete stranger will come to know me and get me gifts that I'll love and use regularly and they're the best gifts.
Right now, outside of starting this book tradition... ILFSS is the ONLY thing I look forward to at the holiday times.
Thank you all for being the amazing cretins that you are.

That is an awesome post. I'm pretty new here, and I read much more than I post, but this is the sort of stuff that makes me really like this place.odontophobia wrote:I know that many of us are in this boat but...

And the book tradition thing is so nice. What a great idea.

Yeah, I'm not a big beer person, myself. I tend to prefer "fruitier" drinks (my grandparents in Romania have a vineyard where they make a really sweet wine). Even though it was really bitter (at least, to my taste), I enjoyed it.
Edit: forgot to mention that the cookies were rad

There is pretty much an epic story behind all of this loot. UC is a satanic sleuth of epic proportions, super loveable and probably certifiably insane for getting such fine presents for a gooped Swedish thrash raptor.

For those who don't know, smash is pretty much Doritos rolled into cones and covered in chocolate. Last night I literally ate half the packet after the children fell asleep. And felt pretty ill as a result

Growing up, I had a small family of mostly childless-marriages, only-children and bachelors where I was the youngest by a near-3decade generation gap. Still managed to have a semi-charmed childhood until I was 9, when parents divorced and fam was divided. Went from everyone together to mom's side+dad's side, 2 different Christmas celebrations. Obviously it made for an extra opportunity to get spoiled as an only child/only grandchild but the joy was never the same. The traditions I'd known felt like we were going through the motions in trying to recapture the magic. Happy memories were still made, but traditions also serve as a catalyst of longing for what once was.
Moral of the story is to situationally enjoy yourself while you still can; avoid taking things for granted. Strong, positive, lasting memories can also serve as a painful reminder if you focus on them without looking ahead. Life doesn't wait for you to get your dreams lined up and sorted. Making the most of what you have is the key to moving forward.
Merry Christmas & ILFsmas

Yes--I've really loved being a part of ILFSS this year. Being my first time, I've learned a lot and have been really impressed by some of the serious stalkage I've seen. Y'all give good Satan.
And of course as always, I just love being part of this community with all you sweet, thoughtful people.
