I would posit that if you care about being in tune you should avoid tape echo entirely.

Not sure to be honest. It sounded great though. Often wonder what I was thinking when I sold that one (the answer is "I need money for shiny new pedals" but there are better ways of getting that...)

Sounds rad with the TS-25. Will try it with the YBA-1 later today.

And my new pedalboard will be in the mail tomorrow.

There is also an Traynor TS-15 for cheap locally I'm tempted to get,

I've just read shit about it not working properly:

- Stomps not reacting
- "Within one hour of use my T-Rex Replicator already sounds like the delays are completely out of tune even with the chorus off."
- "If you don't play in time with the beat of the echoes it cuts off your notes as they approach the beat causing a ducking effect that also sounds a bit like detuning."
- "The tap tempo works fine on the short repeats in the green and red mode, but the long repeats only line up with the flashing LED in the red mode."
- "The tape mechanism is not stable at all"

Those complaints sound pretty much like most complaints against tape echo.

Sounds quirky. I supposed for a something like this though that would be expect.

Wonder how much of that is user error and lack of maintenance. The stomp thing could be directly relate to powering it wrong too. I've had stomps do that before. Or that it's holding charges wrong. The detuning thing actually sounds brilliant. LOL! Stability is also overrated. I'd love to try one. For the price though it's going to be awhile.
