The Divaricator is a versatile "tone toolbox" for bassists using effects. It combines a variable crossover, a unique harmonic enhancement processor, and an effects loop.

Use the Divaricator to:

-Enhance the sound of your existing effects while maintaining thick, clean and defined low end.
-Generate distorted upper octaves and send high frequencies to a guitar amp and lows to your bass amp (the "bass-to-rhythm-guitar" trick).
-Create growly and distinctive distortion sounds, exaggerated pick attack, or otherworldly overdrive with notes "blooming" over time.
-Integrate effects into your chain that would otherwise mess up your tone.

Maybe someday, if this planet is just, people will start designing effects pedals with guitarists in mind...

But actually, I found some interesting guitar tones with the Divaricator. The Density+Growl combo is special because it's kind of like having a reverb in front of a distortion. Instead of sounding like a distorted guitar in a simulated space, the reverb tails kind of inter-modulate with each other, so you can get something similar to a unison bend by just bending a single note as it rings out.

Of course, me too! But just for fun, I'll try to get some guitar clips recorded. It may be surprising what the Divaricator can do for guitarists. Cue Melrose Place theme.

Most IE FX are better with bass. I like every idea... wish for guitar friendly version.
