I've recently dived back into Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Great stuff.

Of course I'm worried about that year 5 or 6 mark where they unloaded that bullshit
storyline about how Willow's magic is like drug abuse. Total BS. So... is Buffy's strength
like drug abuse too? Or intelligence? Barring that threadbare morally bankrupt storyline
the rest of Buffy holds up and is pretty great.

I'm late to the party, but watched most of it this week. It's pretty damn solid for a period piece/pastiche. Really solidly put together.

I think I'm about five episodes deep. During that first scene in the first episode, when that guy was running around the laboratory in a panic, the fire alarm in my apartment building went off. For a second I was soooo confused about why the TV was soooo loud. I've been hooked ever since

I'm on Penny Dreadful, just now. It's brilliant!

I almost put off watching stranger things because of the synopsis... glad I didn't. This is entertaining: http://www.slashfilm.com/stranger-thing ... omparison/

Penny Dreadful is awesome.

Been really digging a Very Secret Service on Netflix. The lady hates spy stuff and even she likes it.

Can anyone recommend Dark Matter? We've been on a sci-fi kick, lately, and are trying to decide to go with it or Farscape, next.

Yeah I just watched the first three episodes of Stranger Things and I don't know whether or not to treat it as a piece of mad genre worship or hang out and see if it becomes its own thing.
I really hope it does because beyond the familiar ground it's trading now which is warm and endearing, it feels like it could move beyond that.

Great acting from those kids and cool writing so far.

I thought Stranger Things was good. But, didn't find anything extraordinary about it.

I feel like Stranger Things was pretty good. It had its heart in the right place. There were
a few plot devices that felt a bit strained and a overly schematic. But overall it was pretty good.

Farscape, no question.

Chank, thank you for being a friend and posting this video.

If you threw a party and invited everyone you knew, the biggest
GIF would be from me with a card saying: "Thanks, Chank!"
