Almost perfect,love Yammy's,didn't they make a 400 also? This is one of my favorite old bikes(want to get another one). Still miss this it. I traded it for a 5spd/T-Top Iroc Z for my son for a graduation/18th B-day present and then we redid it while he was away in the Marines in Afghanistan

Thanks,Black Cherry Metallic is what he wanted so he got it The previous owner did a motor swap and split the Iroc front facia dropping the motor on it and put a base Camaro front on it so we left the side skirts off.

Not sure about the overheating. But, a flush is never a bad idea. Perhaps swap out the thermostat while you're at it? Mine does stall sometimes, but not always, when I'm coming to a stop. I can usually goose it enough to save it from stalling. It will also buck when climbing a hill. First thing I did was clean the MAF sensor and replace the air filter. No luck. It could be that the throttle body needs to be cleaned, as well. But, I haven't done that. Also, I have suspected that I have a vacuum leak in the intake manifold gasket. Replacing it is a job I don't care to undertake. I sometimes get a misfire code, too. So, it could even be a bad fuel injector. Then, my fuel pump went out. I thought that must have been the cause of the stalling. (I was in a jam and had to have a shop replace the fuel pump. $800, said and done. Fuck.) Still stalls. My dad started having a similar problem with his car. He had a new oil pump put in and says that fixed it. My oil pressure "gauge", in the truck, jumps around before it stalls. So, the cause may in fact be a dying oil pump.

Dunno, if any of that will be of help to you. But, some things for you and your friend to think about.

Fuck. A lot of what you're describing is exactly what i get. It does overheat sometimes, but also the oil pressure "gauge" starts to wile the fuck out whenever it's about to shit the bed. Good to know that this might be a more common issue than i'd thought with this car, or just that someone else has had any similar experiences. But also, the first time this fuckup started, the coolant did get boiling in the reserve tank, and my temperature gauge shot up real fast, which it did again last week when the car shat the bed again. Was going to flush, check the lines to make sure the coolant wasn't clogged, was recommended i try swapping the thermostat too, and it might be a dying oil pump. Ugh and fuck, but also it's manageable.

Just got tickets to the Northeast Grand Prix in July to surprise my son with. He's going to absolutely lose his shit.

Well we had an awesome day at Lime Rock, my son pretty much lost his shit for 10 hours straight. It was like the 5-year-old version of tantric sex.

With the driver of a souped Mini running in the Continental Race


He fucking LOVED this Aston in the same race


We went to the BMW booth in the spectator area, and he was totally pumped to check out the new I8 hybrid


As you can tell by the shirt, he wanted to see some fucking Ferraris


Grid walk before the main event, now that's a fucking Ferrari! 488 GT3!


But in the end, his favorite car was the new Ford GT
