Well I can only assume (because I'm lazy) that you're talking about people who don't change up their god damn sequences, or clock speed, or anything. Get some shit that lets all of that evolve.

I agree with Strange Tales; swapping the Pittsburgh LFO for a Batumi would be a huge plus. Self-patching the Batumi can get into some really weird territory that finger wiggling just wouldn't be able to achieve.
I would definitely keep some kind of VCA, though.
Warps might be an interested module to throw into your rack too.

moddemix could be a good vca option. not too large and can be used though zero as a ring mod to AM signals and as a three channel mixer with its aux input.

You can use an antimatter brain seed with noise or an lfo on the input to get a pseudo turing machine, and you can use any voltage controllable, square wave lfo as a modulatable clock source.

You don't need to patch noise in the Brain Seed's input to get random results, it does that by default with nothing plugged in :).

And one simple looping sequence that controls the pitch of an oscillator can become boring quickly, but having a few sequencers that are clocked independently and control different things or better, control each other, can be very nice...

I've got a Brain Seed (and Peaks sometimes used as a small 4 steps sequencer) and I'm getting an Erica Synths Pico Sequencer on Saturday, these clocked by a Pamela's Workout and some help from a Doepfer Min/Max is enough to get very cool results that are still controllable.

I use a few different methods to avoid static and boring sequences:
1) Bishop's Miscellany: record a sequence in each channel then modulate the length and section. I like to record a sequence from both my Moskwas, then re-patching them into the length and section inputs on the Bishop's. Kind of like a sequence the sequencers patch. Also fun to get glitchy and random sequences by plugging a random source into one of the inputs.
2) one Moskwa into the Disting quantizer mode, the other into the quantizer transpose input. Then set both sequencers to different lengths and/or divisions. Results can be evolving, but still somewhat repetitive sequences.

I built the Rebel Technologies Logoi to avoid boring sequences. I can patch tons of different LFOs into this and constantly change the time in so many ways.
This into a Pamela's Workout is basically what drives my whole system now.

That thing looks cool. Would definitely pair really well with a Batumi.

Does anybody have any experience receiving packages from Australia? Tracking info on my package of Ieaskul stuff hasn't been updated in over a week

So you can build this?

I'm sensing an easy logical conclusion here.

I've built one correctly so doing another one shouldn't be an issue :thumb:

What type of shipping is it and where did it stop being updated?

Yeah if it stops updating after it hits another country that's not terribly uncommon, unfortunately.

It was shipped with International Express Post through Australian Post...

I just went on to copy the last update, and it turns out it was just updated this morning. It looks like it probably sat in customs for awhile and they didn't update it to reflect that.

I haven't given up on my plans for an Isms based setup, but I got a screaming deal on a PGH Structure 96, so...
