How come in terminator the time travel machine can only transport organic/fleshy matter? Doesn't make sense. Even suspending my disbelief on that, a 3/4" layer of skin tricks magic machine that can differentiate living cells from metal? Wait, then how did liquid metal guy from x-files come through? He has no skin. Then there is less refined robot lady from the other one?

Did John Conner pick his dad based on what he thought his mom would like, because he was the best man for the job, or because he thought he'd be a cool dad? Kinda gross..."hey, my mom is gonna do you so I can be born to send you back and do her again, infinity".

Why not go back and destroy the transistor or some root invention that makes robots possible and alter the course of technology and keep your family out of it? Seems kinda selfish for John Conner to save the world and his existence instead of preventing the whole thing...if the world doesn't get destroyed, then he never exists anyway...he only exists because robots kill people and create a time machine. Stupid.

John Conner bringsthe destruction of the world by making sure he exists...saviour/leader...sounds more like a megalomaniac.
