That's true in the US as well -- see ASCAP and BMI.

The ethics of this forum assume me. Most people here will willing buy clones out of the bst area, regardless of if it's in production, but a circuit bend is over the line? It's odd to me that so many people think so differently. I am against copying other folks work for sure. I also would never buy this pedal because I don't believe a circuit bend is worth that much, at least not to me. To each their own though.

It's just amusing to see how different folks can be.

If your bend would result in something different from what Rhys has made, why do you need the guy shots? Why not just buy a NUX and start messing about in there?

Maybe they just like Rhys's/dr. slime's "guy shots" better?

Well, it looks like this thread quickly devolved into a socialism vs. capitalist/free-market society thing.
FWIW, I think clones/copies (of anything and everything) are fine if you don't make money from it. :snax:

Meh. If I can do what the factory does, and doing so will cause it close. Maybe it deserves to close.

Also, just to rustle some jimmies.

TBF, i am also very much not a socialist. This thread went weird and i never got those guy shots, but i think the world would be a better place if more people floated me some guy shots from time to time. Gotta live, you know?
