Envelope controlled compression? So the harder you play the more squish you get? Could be interesting in conjunction with another effect. Like dirt or reverb or something. Maybe on a momentary switch with a threshold control like the crackle.

I'd throw money all the way across the pacific for this
do some fuckety compression Brian, please

So a full blown out crackle pedal? Lofi in a box? Add a low and high cut knobs to this and boost and I'll buy 10. :snax:

that's like... the definition of a compressor though! lol

I'd really just like to have that crackle function in a box. Shit, do the crackle function but instead just have an effects loop to do the crackle so you can put whatever you want in there.

But you could just build your own effects loop and put a fuck at the end of it?
From my understanding the crackle is an enveloped response to the bias of the Fuck, it's not really separate from the "base sound" of the pedal.

exactly. yeah i think if you want to have a crackle pedal, just using it always in crackle mode after the things you want to get crackled up is the way to do it. the exact way that the crackle happens is from only starving only part of the circuit via envelope control and is a function of the circuit itself. all of the controls change the character of the crackle as well: gain especially.

i have an idea that might help get you what you want though - it's simple and might not be perfect but it might get you there.
i'll report back next week with results.

@kbit: me building things doesn't turn out well. hell trying to build my own effects loop might cause me to blow up half of new jersey. I definitely do regret selling my fuck though and will probably pick another one up soon.

@brian :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: Definitely excited to see what you come up with!

Oh I didn't mean that literally, I meant like wire up a string of pedals in a bypass loop and have the fuck at the end of that chain.my b.

"Fuck Buddy"

Always-on Fuck (like the new lil barbershop) in a 125b with a single footswitch for the boom. Same control set as a Fuck. Would buy day 1.

Going on the subject of the polygrace reissue, what would be an estimate price point? Daddy has gas.

Am I the only one that's going insane hoping for that patchable 2399 delay?
