Bass players- 2, 2x10's or a 4x10
For those guys or gals who've used both, which do you prefer?

Do I have to move them? Where? How often? what head am I using? Can I power both of these hypothetical 2x10's with the same head I can power the 4x10 with? Are they the same company's cabs? Are the cabinets equivalent in build quality? What sort of venues am I playing? etc.

Cabs won't be moved, 1 head that can power both cabs by the same manufacturer

8x10 is overkill for me, this rig will be set up in my man cave, I won't be gigging, may jam with a drummer occasionally

haha not really, I personally would do a 410, seems like way less hassle tbh, a 410 is already pretty light and easy to move.

I would argue for a well-designed 1x15 over any of the options presented here, tbh. That shit gets more than loud enough with the right head and it's swankier, too.

If we really wanted to go full TB, I'd point out that the diameter of the speaker cone has basically no correlation with bass frequency response.

Not to be that guy but I have a perfectly respectable/possibly envy inducing bass rig (as far as that dick swinging goes) and I have always wanted to try out a fEarful to see what the fuss was about.

I had a 12/6/1 built by a greenboy dealer and I wasn't that impressed but I am also not an audio engineer nor are my ears plated with gold

It's been a long time since I was on TB but IIRC the fEarful was supposed to alleviate a lot of the 'problems' happening for dudes that weren't looking for fridge-esque tones?
