Dase, I think in this country we have to accept that you'll never escape scenesters.
It was industrial in the 90s.
Then new metal.
Then hardcore.
Now doom and stoner.
And yes, the new wave of "post-Arcadian black metal" is also ridiculous, but there is still good music to love.
