why - 303 is a pain in the ass to program, totally unstable at this point. mine was even mint w/ box and all. x0xb0x recreates its sound to perfection, TONS better programming, connectivity, etc etc blah.

if roland did what korg is doing and recreated the actual 303 that'd be awesome, even if i prefer the x0x. but roland has made shit for years now.
and that's from a guy who fucking loves their old gear from back in the day. i have damn near every drum machine they made, a 60 & 106, sh-101 etc.

sorry... i am grumpy.

I have none of the synths or drum machines that you have, but I had the awesome Jupiter-4 for a while. It's awful how such a great company goes downhill without doing anything against it. Roland is still on the "never look back, always look forward" train, although the AIRA instruments and the BOSS Waza Craft series seem like a step in the right direction again. Sales rates of the new "Juno" and "Jupiter" [insert other famous 70's/80's Roland names here] plastic thingamajigs must be high enough to keep on that boring route. :erm:

I am really happy that my favourite Japanese company, KORG, offers so much great stuff in the last years. I don't have enough money to buy all that awesome shit! :animal:

I feel you, but have you actually played a TB-3? I know it won't be the same as an OG, but I have a TR-8 and love it to bits.. fuck the haters. so naturally I'm thinking the TB-3 will live up to it, at least part way. I've never played an OG 303 tho so I have no reference, really
i'm glad i can call you a friend. even if i'll never see you again

I haven't used a tb3 but I have a TT303 and it's dope enough that I did an entire album with it. I don't think you'd be disappointed saving the extra dollars to get one.

I was already in the market for a Vox AC30c2 to pair with the JM i'm getting and saw this. What's the difference between the CP & CP2?

And most importantly does this get the SWEET DEAL seal of approval?
