Yeah my Instagram feed is brutal.
As soon as I get my rig sorted halfway I'm getting back on the tattoo train.
Gotta finish the sleeve that's been hanging since my wife fell pregnant with my son.
Then it's time to start all the other ideas.

You're doing good, gor. Just remember it'll be worth it when you aren't scrounging for cash at appointments.
It makes a session way more comfortable.
Plus taking your mind off your GAS for a while with another project is actually a great way to settle it down and be satisfied with what you have.

Got an Oarfish on my arm just a month ago, first tattoo. I love them there sea monsters. The tattoo artist (Will Pacheco, currently at Bläck in Stockholm) is so fucking incredible. Already lusting for the next one.

It is still wonderfully clean looking. His trick is he does an outline first, fills it in, and then redoes the outline with a small needle to make it sharp.

My arm was $180 an hour, my back is $160 an hour. But NY is expensive to get non shitty artists and I tend to go to the more well known places.

jebus. i mean, i think my grrL under charges me, but Cali is so damn expensive i thought it would still be up there. mines averages between $60-$100 an hour, depending on if there was design work or what is being done.

My first tat was almost in California by this girl called Roxx, who I still say makes some amazing tattoos and really pioneered her own style at the time. I wanted a full back piece from her as my first. I set up an appointment at $250 an hour with a wait list of around 6 months. Then apparently she fired her secretary and forgot about me before saying it was now a wait list of about a year and she now charge around $400 an hour. I was pissed and noped out. She still has amazing tattoos, but has moved into that realm of tattoo celebrities I tend to avoid.
