Wow that's a really great sounding unit...and 650$. Need more info on how you replace tape but this might be more fun than the fulltone SS tape delay or whatever it's called EP-3 clone I've been waiting on.

Still pondering an Alexander Radical Delay or hunting down random 80's digital delays or just springing for some crazy expensive bells and whistles delay machine. Also, I need a surf-y fuzz.

the unit runs on cassette. you may use any tape you want for it’s desired tonal effect but the machines are aligned for TDK SA or MAXELL XL II, which are very similar great sounding high bias / type II tapes and are readily available for around 3$ each.

That does mean you need to remember to flip it or rewind it
