No pic because of messy wiring shame, but all this talk lately of delay fx loops, big box reverbs, etc got me excited and I may have forgotten to get some sleep. I'll post soundclips tomorrow if it still sounds as awesome as my sleepy brain currently thinks it does.

Heres the diagram of the chain I wrote to keep all the routing clear. Overkill, probably. Still worth it to wallow in the wash.

For a lead tone, kill the verb and turn on a MTL.asm Positive after the Cyber Psychic. The rhythm tone has enough wash for everyone.

I really should get someone to build me an multi-channel stereo instrument level mixer.

Sounds like something I would devise...the space echo...which one is it? How do you like the interstellar overdriver? I dunno why I have been thinking about overdrive lately (maybe because I am selling my stuff to finally achieve my 20 year goal of a Sunn...that I should've bought 15 years ago when I had the chance haha)

It just works so well. I have the Space Echo RE-150, love that thing. I have mixed feeling about the interstellar overdrive. Some days I love it, some days I truly hate it. It's one of those pedals that always sounds like itself. It also gets loud really quickly. Still, I like it enough that it's one of the pedals I've had the longest. I'd trade it for the interstellar overdriver in a heartbeat though. I think I'll be in LA in November. If you're around, I can lend it to you for a couple days. (assuming the TSA doesn't mistake DBA wiring with a bomb )

At home I use an eleven rack. Basically, an expensive DI with an Interface and amp simulation built in. Here the amp is an emulation of a ʼ66 VOX AC30 Top Boost(off) set super clean and miced with a simulated royer at 45º. It's rare that I mess around too much, because I generally go for a very clean amp tone.

At the studio, depends on the situation, but I tend to fall on a Fender Twin top boost set real clean and a blend of a Royer, an sm57 at 45º and one directly opposite it in the back flipped phase 45º.

I still gotta check this out (on a phone). Don't worry about letting me borrow it...it ain't worth the risk (TSA searched some LPs I bought in MA once...opened them all and made me explain what they were... ) (I will try one at some point...going to stick with fuzz as long as I have the beta lead), but I will get ya a beer or something!

Yea, I love my Space Echo RE-201. Don't use it near enough though, haha.

I'll have to get around to clips soon.
It's pretty cool, two clean sine waves, can sound pretty subby on the low end of the dial.
I wish the housing was metal instead of plastic, though.

Controls
Unlabeled Switch - pitch range
Base - master pitch control
Beat - tunes one oscillator up slightly
Level - volume of the oscillators
FM Switch - very subtle modulation, like an extra layer of light beating
Balance - left/right pan
Surf - volume of white noise, which has some sort of low pass filter sweeping the signal every 2-3 seconds
Music - line in volume, which I was running the Drone Commander and el Cap into.
