So sorry for put this in gear but it's upsetting the fucking shit out of me. I woke up today to a bunch of negative comments and trolls on my Acid Splash Designs because I did a Mr. Sparkle design for a customer.

Come to find out they offer that on a pedal. Which I did not know.

What baffles me is that someone called it plagiarizing and another said to sue me??? How about I contact Matt Groening and ask if anyone has purchased rights to his images??? I'm sure that would be the end of it.

I'm so dumb founded by this. It's the most petty thing I've ever seen.

I wrote Them an apology letter, because I felt bad, then I see this.

Wait... what? Copying a picture from pop culture on to a pedal is all good fun - I've had you do it for me before. But claiming rights to using the spesific picture (which you don't own the rights to)?

custom one-off pedals are cool because you can pick whatever image you want on it and not get sued.
these guys are substituting google images for actual graphic design on production pedals, so they're definitely the kind of fucking morons that would get angry at you over this.

I think what everyone is missing here is that behind the cheap stick on artwork of publicly sourced images lies Gojira FX's real originality: Tubescreamer, Rat, and Muff circuits.

according to the name, i'm assuming its a tubescreamer clone as well,

these guys usethe crappiest stickers and have some of the shittiest quality builds out there. also wasn't he rehousing mooer pedals and up marking them? goes to show..

Thanks guys for the good comments. I honestly felt like I was hit with a bag of bricks by this. Just couldn't believe it. Made me angry and sad at the same time.

I just don't get it. Why would they think I was stealing from them? It's beyond bizarre to me.
