Yeah that's pretty close to how I feel after eating there, they have this amazing acrylic portrait of robocop in a fancy frame though. I almost want to try and buy it off them.
I think holding boutique pedalbuilders to a high standard is a good thing; even if the overall approach here is super troll-ey. I mean, you can be an asshole and still make good points? If his sole shtick is sticking it to small builders and shitting on people making free content that's something else.
I didn't like the way either pedal sounded, but I'm going to guess the second one is the Mantic? I played an MT-2 in a guitar center years ago and thought it was awful. The second one sounded slightly better to me, so I'm gonna say that's not an MT-2?

As requested. Check out track 1 "Mantic Vs MT-2" at the link below. I didn't write which was which because I didn't want that to cloud judgement in any way. And I tried very hard to match eq's, distortion levels and volume levels, but obviously couldn't get the two exact because of the mid controls on the MT-2.

Sure, I'll give you both of those. I could even give you the first one. But he hasn't done any of that other shit on ILF. And, because this isn't TB, no one gives a shit about things that happened on TB.
Sorry but once you see someone prove themselves to be a giant douche at every possible moment, it's hard to ignore what you have learned.
A lot of dirt pedals can be made to sound quite similar to each other if you tweak the controls a bit, but a more interesting comparison is what sounds a pedal can make that the other can't. I don't have either of these two so I don't know the range of sounds they have, but the reason for all these versions of the same basic circuit design (apart from making money) is often to add something the other ones can't do. Maybe other sounds, maybe true bypass, etc.

DIBS ON THE FLIP
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.
