hey, those kay 703s are cheap ... i payed under $100 US for them on ebay ... maybe 3 years ago. out here we pay more for shipping than we do for the item ( well, i do 'cos i'm into junky old guitars and amps ) usually ...
if you're interested in resin casting i'll find some edumacational links to put up here.
mostly i'm painting while the sun shines today ... but also working on these ... something semi-hollow and kay inspired :

9 strings would be fun. but - how do you offset a teardrop ?

It was just a thought that crossed my mind. I like teardrops, but somehow it bothers me that they are symmetrical. I think assymmetrical bodies look much nicer when they hang on the player. Might look terrible in real life though. It was a theoretical thought. There are Maton teardrops? Tell me more.

Harvester now has a dedicated page on fetishguitars.com ... this is kind of a big deal for me, that's ground zero for people interested in bizarre italian guitars ( err, like me ! )
now, i haven't really got into gear for the year with my guitar commissions, i'm clearing a back log of repairs this week, then i'll be repainting 2 of the 3 metal neck Antonio series because of some kind of contamination under the lacquer - keeps on bubbling up ... in my nightmares.
some progress shots soon and some more milled neck blanks and pickups arriving soon.
