If you don't mind, please help me to list them and keep me away of those people.
I don't care about the religion itself, is just that those guys seem to be in trouble all the time when it comes to selling gear.
Verified (and confirmed for being shitty):
- jhs
- t1m
- salvage pedalboards
- lovepedal
- Creation Audio
- Taylor McGrath Guitars
- Landgraff
- Matthews Effects
- Morgan amps.
Unverified (but cool companies):
- wampler
- paul cochrane
- walrus audio
- xotic
- visual sound
Thanks!
mods: Feel free to delete the thread if it's against the rules, I couldn't find anything.

I've only ever heard negativity regarding JHS and t1m. And good things about some of the others. I had a Lovepedal trem for a few years and it was awesome and cheap.
I'm sure none of them chose the game, the game chose them.
If they have a cool pedal, who cares about politics?

t1m I made the mistake of doing business with, won't do so again.
Salvage has a pretty bad CS rep, didn't know about any religious connection.
Lovepedal I'm meh about, have a vague recollection about them being on my shitlist at one point.
Wampler isn't someone I'd likely give money to either.
But I'm a grumpy bastard.

I don't support other radical ideologies that conflict with my own radical ideologies.

"Praise and worship," as any musician/builder who is associated with or attends a church has come to be known.
If a company has a reputation for bad service, that's one thing, but this feels icky.

Add "Creation Audio" to the list, in case it wasn't obvious.

Is this really necessary? Bad business happens because of bad business, not because of a label.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with people living lives around what they believe. Let their business stand on their own.
Having said that, the only thing I've been ver been remotely interested by JHS is their colour box,and even then not at that price.

I'm just curious and I'd rather not buy anything from those builders whether they are P&W or not, but from what I've read so far in different forums, problems arises when jesus is somehow involved. I don like to waste my time nor jeopardize my money with some people. That's it.
Feel free to report the thread if it makes you uncomfortable. I might create another one without jesus and cross-reference it with this thread, just for fun.
Dark Barn, thanks.
blakestree, I added the question mark because I'm not sure, but there's a walrus talk on every P&W thread in TGP.
Taylor McGrath Guitars is another to add to the list.

This.
I think bad business practices are just looked down upon more when the builder claims to be an
upstanding,
Christian family man than when it's some dude that smokes pot in his mom's basement.
That said, the douch factor (and retail price) is too high for me to buy from JHS and Sean from
Lovepedal is a fucktard.
From all accounts Paul C. is a solid dude.
I've seen plenty of Strymon, Dr. Scientist, Earthquaker and Eventide on "P&W" boards too.
