FS (UK) - Millimetric Instruments MG6

Postby gusman2x » Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:16 am

Millimetric MG6 with walnut neck, single coil in the neck, and HB in the bridge. All the case candy. It's basically unplayed as it arrived at a time when my band was breaking up, and I just stopped playing for a while. It's a shame as it's phenomenal build quality and sounds fantastic.

Wait time is about a year on these I think. Avoid the wait, and the import duties.

£1750

Would prefer not to post, and am happy to meet halfway just about anywhere in the country.

Only thing I'd be interested in trading for would be a strat (I know right), but I have some quite specific requirements so a sale is probably easier.

I've been eyeing this builder's works for quite a while... how's the fret size on this one?

I think medium jumbo by my estimation. The fret work (especially the balled ends) is exquisite. Top notch work.

+1 for Florian's fretwork. It's on another level. He usually uses stainless steel frets that are close to medium jumbo. His guitars are awesome.

Close to medium jumbo meaning closer to jumbo or closer to medium? This really could be a dealbreaker for me, I dislike jumbo frets a lot, but everything else about the guitar is very appealling to me, including the 25" scale (my two other guitars are also 25" and I love it)

Well I got a guitar referred recently with “medium jumbo”, and these feel smaller for sure. So if I had to say, I’d say more medium.
