Goodbye Guitar, Hello Modular - American Tele+Partsmaster FS

Postby baremountain » Thu Sep 07, 2017 9:30 am

So I've been entertaining the thought of selling a guitar or two to get a good start on a modular rig.
I feel like a donkus for not having pics yet, but I've got two guitars I might be willing to part with:
- 2009 Fender American Deluxe Telecaster in pretty dang good condition. Got some belt rash and I'm sure there are a few dings, but nothing serious. It plays like a beaut and its electronics are all stock and just as good as when I got it. I replaced the output jack so you can even use right angle cables with it now. Neckside strap screw has been known to come loose but I will do the toothpick thing before I send it to you so it's tightened for a while.
There are some listed on Reverb for about $1,100, so I'll entertain offers in that neighborhood? Dealz for you guys of course. Slightly higher trade value I s'pose.

-Seafoam Green Partsmaster (much more iffy on this one)
Traded a MIJ JM for this a few months back and I'm not in love. I think the hole for the tailpiece could stand to be made larger. I can't remember who makes the body but it's high quality. Roadworn look. Warmouth neck. Idr what wood but it's dark brown. American tailpiece and Mustang bridge. The electronics/pickguard are those upscale Duncan ones and look clean af inside.
Ideally I'd get in the $800-900 range for this. Again, sorry I don't have pictures but I can provide them tonight.

Might also be doing a pedal purge if this is indeed the route I go.

TRADES:
I think I want a modest 6U rack
BeatStep Pro
Here's what I've got on my Modular Grid. Open to other things probably because I don't know anything and just picked based off what I've heard about certain modules.
Mutable: Frames, Clouds, Tides, maybe Braids
Makenoise: Ears, Brain, Pressure Points, Tempi, Morphagene maybe others
Rack LoFi Junkie or Fuzz Factory
Mannequins Mangrove, Three Sisters, or Just Friends
Intellijel Plonk
4ms SMR
VCAs (low HP = better), mults, etc idk!!!!!!!!
