I think this is at least partially true. I think the new outrage culture extends the shelf life of things way beyond what they would be. Example: I probably wouldn't know who that Milo douche was unless people tried to shut his speaking events down and rioting over it. He would have just had his little followers and faded away even quicker than he did.

Actually I used it tongue-in-cheek because that term comes up a lot here and people jokingly refer to people here and themselves as that. Nice try though. I stand by that statement. Anyone who resorts to insults and name calling has no argument.
