But as a person who doesn't eat real meat the judgement criteria are a bit different lol.

before you disagree I think you must think about what I was saying more than what you think I was saying..

Wasn't trying to be agressive or anything? :)

Sorry if I came across as argumentative, just I have a different subjective opinion on the enjoyment of those foods.

I thought you were saying "I don't like fake meat enough to eat it every day" and I was trying to counter with "I respect your opinion and have a different one".

Talking on the internet sucks eh

I've been to a bunch of those Thai places by Penn, but I still haven't really found any really good Thai food in Philly. The closest was Circles (the one in S. Philly, not the one in NoLibs), but even that's only pretty average as far as Thai food goes. (I haven't been impressed by the veggie Chinese restaurants in Chinatown either.)

I always end up getting a "Thai burrito" from the Circles in South Philly, and it's pretty fucking good. I like Lemon Grass over near Drexel a lot too, though. Neither place is life-changing, but they definitely do the trick.

 I was more coming from the point of eating fake meat all the time is bad for you because most of it is highly processed and isn't a good thing to base a vegetarian diet on.. I've been non meat for over 20 years now... do I like to make myself sick eating terrible veggie corndogs? you bet I do :omg:

I had some terrible veggie sausages at a hotel last week but I was hungry and they didn't have much else substantial for breakfast. :(

I actually don't eat it every day, or even every week, or even every month. Pretty much just eat vegetables and fruit most of the time, I agree about minimising processed food! So I'm not sure what I was arguing about!

I've actually tried very few fake meats, the good ones I've had have been super delicious though (which I guess is what I was thinking of when I commented).

I can say I've tried more things than I like to remember.. Being that even when I did eat meat I still had a mostly veggie diet due to one set of parents being of the hippy/Buddhist type and a 7th day Adventist stepmother in the other set... I've eaten many unspeakable unmeatible things...

 I bet! Only been at it a couple of years so not had enough time to try much. Thankfully I also had a very varied and unusually vegetable heavy diet beforehand so I was perfectly happy cooking with no meat substitutes immediately.

Never tried a Thai burrito. It's been so long since I've eaten there, I can't even remember what I used to order. :idk:

the scary and somewhat funny feeling when you realise that your internet browser is showing adds for only steamed hams, meat, and other steamed food while youtube shows you nothing but recommendations of simpsons videos and steamed hams as well...
