Kind of want to dig into the work of old 80's "weird dudes" Charles Fleischer and Steven Wright. It's fun to read into dudes with weird careers (Fleischer was the voice of Roger Rabbit).

Steven Wright is so devoid of emotion; it's wonderful. Eugene Mirman is pretty funny. If you like Eugene, you'd love Dan Telfer.

Bob Odenkirk is another one I enjoyed, but I kind of like hearing comedians bomb a set and see how the deal with it. Odenkirk just acknowledged how rusty he was and kept on creaking.

I saw Odenkirk once. He apparently HATES doing stand-up. It was good show though!

Saw the whole cast of Mr. Show once. I think it was a troll lead in for triumph...it was weird. Mighty Boosh live was good though.

Eddie Pepitone was who I was thinking of:

Mirman is good most of the time. I think I've seen him 4 or 5 times live? The last time was his best though.

Up until now I thought Bob Odenkirk and Steve Oedekerk were the same person.

I saw Margret Cho dance with Peaches.

Margret Cho was actually pretty good during her own set too.

Dice did a show with Natasha Leggero on Showtime that was quite a bit better than I assumed it would be. Only lasted two seasons, but honestly, when that guy quits his stage character and just plays a guy who deals with knowing he's past his prime, he shows his acting chops real well. Check it out if you haven't.

Current favorites, no particular order:

Men - John Mulaney, Neil Brennan, Patrice O'Neal (such a loss), Stanhope, and good to see Chappelle back in the game

Women - Maria Bamford, Fortune Femster, Megan Amram, Morgan Murphy

Other - Emo Philips
