Looks like The Crossing is just a more serious version of Future Man.

I'm not sure that works.... I'll have to watch the Crossing to see. Future Man made me laugh pretty hard. The straw thing was just hilarious.

It's like someone watched Future Man, told someone else about the plot but only vaguely mentioned the time travel part and focused more on the engineered human shit, and then that person decided to come up with a TV show based on that which is also some sort of commentary about the way the US handles refugees.

Was it as good as The Killing?

Thought is was as easily as good as The Killing or better. And it's a mini-series so the story is much more taut and tension filled then The Killing. It's an emotional grinder along the lines of Broadchurch. Everyone gets chewed up and spit out. And the end is perfect.
And don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed The Killing.

Oohh need to look into this... I loved the Killing

Yeah man. I really liked it as well. The last couple episodes were so marvelously violent. Real excited for season 2.

huh. interesting.

also, The Man From Nowhere is on Netflix! WOOT!

it's weird. it seems like a normal (but good) Korean action flick. but something about it. i just LOVE that movie. it makes me feel good to watch it.

that's mostly because the child in it is adorable.

it's sort of how the first Despicable Me movie is something i still watch as a Happy Feel Good Times thing. love the childrens characters in that.

I'm hoping Seven Seconds gets better. So far the first two episodes are feeling too much like they're trying to be The Wire+Training Day. The Killing had such a unique vibe / mood to it, it really set itself apart from typical crime dramas. Def going to watch more episodes though as it's still pretty gripping.

ok...i know im late to this party...but noticed that Netflix had all Sons of Anarchy seasons...so started watching it.

As of right now, i just started season 2...man...its amazing. There's only maybe 2 or 3 other shows that I've been hooked into so much.

for everyone that's seen it, don't tell what happens...for those who haven't, you need to check it out.

really cool premise, Worthington is hard to watch in anything, and got super tropey and bad cliche genre predictableness quickly.

Yeah, goddamn it was bad. Like, I figured maybe it's gonna be over the top or campy enough to be entertaining, at least, but no, it's one of the worst things I've seen in a long time.

Titan...
I made it about 45 mins in and then shut it off. I was hoping there would be more. It's rated pretty highly too.. don't get it.
