Drod has absolutely blown my mind







I'm excited for every single thing in here. The Uke is going to obliterate cities I tell you, it has a built in big muff (stomp) and miku pedal (blue button) as well as a oscillation switch (the red one). Started jamming and couldn't stop, demos promised. The Fcknoise pedal is a sample rate reducer which is fucking awesome because I didn't have one and it makes noise and oscillations and its delicious.

On top of that he has the guts to tell me that this ain't even the main gift? It's being built and the clue I've received is Tomkat which just makes me cream myself even more.

Word of warning, the miku has an auto shut off for like battery saving or something, I hate it. So if it's not working, pop the battery out and put it back in and wait for that light to stop blinking and you should be good to rock out. More details in the notes i linked you, let me know if you can't figure out the password.

Also, make sure you try using the external input to run you're actual rig through the miku. That thing can actually get neat sounds when you mix it with other stuff.

Steel strings. Single coil neck from a tele affinity I had lying around. And then a bundle of used frets behind the bridge so that I could ground it.

Yep, steel strings and a tele neck pickup! Haven't listened to the vinyls yet as I'm pooped after jetlag and traveling for 35h, but it's one is Nils Frahm -late night tales and the other one is Lapalux - Nostalchic and I haven't listen to either so that's very exciting! Plus a Haruka Murakami book which I'm excited to read too!
