Poll: Art/Literature forum?

Postby Ghost Hip » Sat Mar 28, 2009 10:52 am

Alright, as most of you know we used to have an Art sub-forum for painting drawing photography photoshop etc. as well as a literature/poetry forums. Devi mentioned if there was a want for this to start up a thread and see what the community thinks.

I figure we should combine the two to:
1. save space
2. it'll make the forum more active if we have a wider range of topics
3. It's all art (at least in my eyes.)

Oh and this forum would be for yours and anyone else's art you want to discuss.

So vote anyway you please. :) I've enabled it so you can change your vote in case someone makes a good point and it changed your mind. :thumb:

Well within the Art forum any one could post pretty much any thing they felt like.

I believe poetry will fit in as well as visual art, without having to get into more sub forums.

So I'm voting for an all encompassing 'Art' forum and allowing every one to interpret art for them selves.

I voted yes as well, because, I just feel those too subjects deserve either one big ol Art/Lit forum (which is fine) or 2 separate forums (which is fine too.)

But yes.

I like the idea of an all-encompassing "art" forum... we gots some cree-ay-tive people around these here parts... may as well give 'em a place to strut their stuff. I always liked seeing what folks were up to in their non-musical creative endeavors, and having a dedicated forum makes it easier to scan...

I think it's a good idea to combine them. The number of people posting wasn't high enough in each subject.
