Corpulent Orange & The Supplemental Oxy-Djents
Most entertaining show I've ever seen and by far the biggest crowd, for sure.
The opening act was Mick Pence & The Mothers Of Immaculate Conception...sort of straight-edge Goth but with a very positive lyrical message that really resonated with me.
Then they dimmed the lights for the grand entrance of Corpulent Orange. He's like Meatloaf but with Billy Idol's lips...awesome stage presence; a real born entertainer.
At the beginning, he shuffled down a ramp to the stage really slowly, with toilet paper trailing from the bottom of his shoe, in a huge cloud of teargas, and the crowd went nuts.
Incredible light show too - lots of fireworks throughout, massive video screens with his giant face on them constantly, and fighter jets flew over the crowd at the end.
Ok, full disclosure: I was out of my mind on super strong disinfectant that I shot up just before they went on, so I don't remember all of it too clearly, but I know he did all his big hits - "Live And Let Die", "You Can't Always Get What You Want", "I Won't Back Down", "Hallelujah", "Born In The USA"...and then he strapped on this short-scale ukulele that made his hands look massive, tossed his baseball cap into the crowd and bellowed "I WANT TO SEE YOUR TORCHES IN THE AIR!", and they launched into a 4-year version of "Rockin' In The Free World".
