The only big difference I am noticing is more song birds than normal :thumb:
But nah, the fauna around my house is pretty good, there is a lot around the area and we haven't mowed or done anything to the land since 2011 soooo there 4-5 raccoons in residence, a constant string of bunnies (there has always been one here... Some times two..) a owl or more, opossums live in the stump in the picture I posted, deer stop by all the time, occasionally coyotes and one time a very small bear meandered through the back yard...

After a long stint of being stressed to the point where I would burn out, been without most of my gear, being in a relationship that caused me a lot of stress I now feel like I am coming back. I feel good, gonna move back to Stockholm. Jam with vidret and other mates. Play my god damn amp. Sit down for a little.

Chasing career/dreams abroad for personal fulfilment has just caused me so much stress. I missed the entire time my mom was sick. My best friends child doesn't know me. I am just so excited to move back and do nothing at all. I just feel excitement for the first time in quite a while

That sounds awesome! We've been lucky to have two badgers visit in the evenings recently (haven't seen two together for over 6 months, not sure if they are the same ones)... and a fox has dropped in occasionally too.

Other good news, an amazingly cheap Caline Reflector Reverb appeared in the post (courtesy of Ebay - £15 second hand, you can't say no!) and it has a ridiculously drawn out reverb. Somewhat lo-fi and echoe-ey but good with dirt and delays. Yay.

Well not much good has happened with this whole corona virus thing, lot of shit I had going on got delayed, but my brother and I have been hanging out for a few hours on Saturday nights, which is pretty cool, but also weird, just because of how long we've been antagonistic towards each other. I think in the past year between the farm visit, Thanksgiving, and these past few Saturdays, we've talked to eaach other more than the cumulative amount of time in the past 10-15 years

Tomorrow’s a holiday. So, I get to sleep in and play animal crossing all day. I’m pretty excited where I’ve already worked one 13 hour day this week.

Finished turning in all of my papers for uni. Now I've just got a year to write my master thesis. No more obligatory classes or papers due. Just me and a bunch of books on my own schedule. The end is in sight. All is good.

Nice! What's your thesis on?
"To my lay mind, the lobster's behavior in the kettle appears to be the expression of a preference; and it may well be that an ability to form preferences is the decisive criterion for real suffering."

not nearly comparable to a master as i did only 3 years in uni, but i remember the feeling after the last exam, with just the thesis ahead. Happy for you!

Obviously 2020 has been a massive, neverending bummer but Fu Manchu finally got around to putting the rest of their discography online (but somehow not on bandcamp!?) which means I can finally listen to King of The Road & The Action Is Go at the proper volume in high fidelity, since my CDs are still living in the states.
