lol that's amazing. congrats dude!

finally preparing to release an EP I recorded a couple of years ago.. I wasn't very proud of it at the time, not sure if I even am yet, but I do love the textures and vibes. captures the essence of my project almost perfectly. pretty excited to get it out there. also recently ran into a homie who was m.i.a. for a bit; does a lot of tape duplication. he was really excited to put out some of my stuff, too. feels good to get the creativity flowing again. it's an ebb and flow kind of thing I guess

put it out as a mysterious alter ego (which is just you with sunglasses on), then, when it's all super popular on local radio, be like "yeah, iss ya boi!"

You could release it as an EP. If you feel so inclined, work on the tracks for an LP, and then inevitably people will talk about how the EP is so much better  In all seriousness sometimes you just need to 'let it go'.
Regardless, very excited to hear it!

Going to Queens for New Years. Any ideas where I should go to see the sites? I've never been to NYC before and I have a couple of days to fill. Any chance of getting an EHX factory tour? I'll be blocks away.

It changes so fast, I dunno Queens but Brooklyn has a lot of fun hip stuff now. There used to be a fun dive bar in Manhattan called BillyMark's West @ 29th and 9th(ish?) but I dunno if it still exists, I liked that place. It had an awesome jukebox of CDRs that the two owners made (billy and Mark) lotta early punk and random NYC bands

I actually used to live in the Syracuse area for a couple of years. I moved halfway across the country without ever having been to NYC. This opportunity presented itself and I'm going to make a visit for half a week. If you are ever in Syracuse again, go to Gorham Brothers Music. It is the best guitar shop. It is like ILF: the store.

Have been lead Boss-man at my work for the past few weeks again while my Boss is on holidays. Handling it well and rewarding as hell, but dealing with staff and client's bullshit is so goddamn exhausting.

Thing have been really chaotic lately, but, uh. I guess I'm engaged now.
That was the most normal, casual thing in the world, answering that question. Easy.
