i'm happy right now because my friend's currently abroad in japan and she said i can buy a japanese guitar through her! she also said that there's a lot of used instrument shops around her too, i'm totally stoked to see where that goes.

That my band's album is almost done [god this has been taking a long time], that despite working brutally through the weekend I still did well at last nights rehearsal, that I am having a cool used guitar being shipped from Japan , that people seem to like me despite my self opinion most of the time

After 10 months I'm FINALLY almost done refinishing my bass. Tomorrow I'll coat it one more time and then it'll hang for a month before the final steps.

There were a lot of setbacks and I probably spent more on materials and parts than if I had just sent it off to someone to do it for me, but I learned a lot about refinishing in general and it's pretty interesting. So the monetary aspect doesn't bother me.

I think I found the girl I will marry.

And Life is pretty fucking good.

My house is overrun with books and instruments/gear and I'm engaged
