My band has written 2 new songs already this year after forming and being pretty unproductive for the last 6 months (we've jammed a lot and had a good time but were getting a bit burned out on not managing to write anything we liked).

I fixed a switchblade that was in pieces by cutting off the mandrel from a rivet and using it instead of a pin that was missing.
Now I totally...don't have a highly illegal, badass knife...

Hey hey, real monster truck drivers are just fine ..

Yeah Portland is the Mecca for hipsters for sure. The cost of living there has gone through the roof. My cousin lived in Gresham like 20 years ago and it was expensive then.. someone told me it's ghetto now.. I don't keep up with it.. I'm a few hours away in Spokane Washington.. cost of living is creeping up here now too.

I'm initially from Southern CA so everything seems cheaper to me hahaha.

But, ya, housing costs are def more expensive compared to where we are now, but it'll be worth it. And my wife's salary is going up to compensate for that increase.

Need to use up my Holiday leave from work so I booked an awesome discounted Flight/Hotel package in Singapore for a week in September. Should be fun. According to my research, there's a tonne of good Ramen restaurants near the hotel, so i'm fucking sorted. :!!!:

Also sold a pedal to fund for some new clothes, why not?
