Dude I would so be into that. My feed is all just people losing their minds about Trump. I mean, I know a lot of us are, me included, but I could so use a good Festivus meme or some shit.

On another note, I started a new, proper ad agency job and it's brutalizing my ass. Not literally, but who knows what tomorrow could bring?

Finally got around to buy the parts for a much needed upgrade of a production pc/hackintosh.

First parts (3 SSD's) were marked as delivered yesterday and were not actually delivered.

Banzai have turned into a complete clusterfuck over the past few months and now they've told me they're going to stop the one service (enclosure drilling) that I was going to use them for in the future. Fuck you Banzai and whatever penny-pinching fuck is in charge now. Fucking fuck.

After I finally had to resort to threatening to sell off his repair, the dude that's been ducking my calls and refusing to pay for his repair for the last month finally returned my call with a claim of a death in the family.

Dude.
It's been a month.
All it would've taken was a courtesy email.
And, you've used that excuse before. :whateva:

To top off the shittiest year ever, my wife's oldest sister decided to take a bunch of mucinex dm pills on her drive out to the coast on xmas eve. She trashed her daughter's car, ended up in the hospital (she wasn't hurt) for 10 days because they found her wandering neighborhoods off the highway, incoherent. So now we get to figure out where she's going for rehab and all that crap. So in the span of a year, we had breast cancer, wife's dad dies, my son in the hospital for an eating disorder, another breast cancer, and now wife's sister fucking up.

2017 will be better.

Yeesh, you should at least stick to Robitussin DM, or anything more pure (or at least combo'd with an antihistamine, but the pure high really is ideal). The guaifenesin in mucinex is likely to make you hurl like a motherfucker...I mean...I'm sorry that your family member would do such a thing in such a reckless manner...

...but joking aside, that really sucks. I too am hoping for a better 2017.

actually yeah i think it was robotussin dm, now that you mention it. when we'd visit she'd sneak off to the bathroom often, and it was like someone turned a switch so she's was going half speed....everything...slow...

Off to my new job. It's my fourth day and I have spent almost 100% of my time so far thinking "good god what the fuck have I done?"

Trying to stay positive. Looking for a little light in it. Feels SO wrong though.

I hate the company I work for, can't go into any details about what I'm doing but I'm putting in as many job applications as I can.

Would anyone be willing to let me crash on their couch until I find an apartment if I get a job in your city? I've got fun synths and weird taste in movies/tv?

We'll see where I land. I'll make a thread about it when I figure out where I'm headed.
