I've ordered a prototype PCB for the updated Romferd. The circuit is very similar to the original:
* TONE switch is replaced by a knob that sets the cut off frequency of a low pass filter. The filter resonance can be tuned by adjusting an internal trimpot.
* CYCLE switch is replaced by a knob that sets the delay time. As suggested in this thread the delay time is locked to step (4 steps). Minimum delay time remains the same as that's just how the PT2399 works.
* Added an expression jack for feedback adjustment. Haven't tested this yet.
* Top mounted jacks on an upright 1590BB (same size as before).

Hopefully the prototype works as intended and I'll be able to start production of a smaller batch in November.

Can't wait, all these changes sound awesome!

Last prototype had some hickups and havent had the time to re-do it. Hopefully this and the reverb will work with the next hardware revision

I'd love to try one of your pedals at some point. I haven't had much luck finding them. lol. Got to try that ILF one on loan! That was awesome! This sounds awesome. I'm horny. For pedals. hah

New Romferd prototype was a success. New version has slightly more parameter depth and range. I ended up scrapping a lot of the extra features which might disappoint some of you.

New Reverb prototype was successful too, but still requires a lot of coding. Think you guys will enjoy this one.

ROMFERD arrived today! Such a unique sounding box. Love the metallic tones and the self oscillation w FEED is wild. Would be really amazing if there was expression for FEED or even CYCLE. Thank you for creating this!

Just DIY it. You can add expression control to any knob...right? Am I forgetting something?

Uhm you'd need a custom expression pedal for the CYCLE as those parameter use different (and specific) pot sizes. You could probably make a mod to insert a volume pedal in the feedback loop, but that would void your warranty.
