stamme[n] V3

Today I made an extended exploration of the Stamme[n]. There's more to come. Lots of depths to plumb.

Signal chain goes:

Basic Audio Fuzz Mutant --> drolo Stamme[n] --> Boss RE-20 --> Zoom H5

I did record one bit on a looper and overlaid that with another run of glitch. But as I was making the second
pass I sort of got carried away and next thing I know 20 minutes had passed in the blink of an eye.

The minutes passed in a blink of an eye when listening too.
I really like how you were using the pitch/hold mode after around 5:30

Thank you, David!

I was pretty entranced with that low note gurn that I stumbled across around
the 5:30 mark. It was fun to use the Control knob to change the pitch. Very useful.

I also love the Filter Hold mode. At 7:12 I start playing with that. The sweep
of the frequency is really satisfying (especially with a delay downstream to
keep an altered sound copy downstream while the Filter Hold sweeps). It was
really fun to use the Control knob to sift that held sound in and out of audibility
around the downstream delay line.

Also around 13:13 mark I revisited the Filter Hold while counterpointing that with
manipulations to the RE-20 Twist function. I was dual knob-twisting at that point,
creating a conversation between the two pedals. Very satisfying/fun.

I can see the Filter Hold being very useful for a person running some type of drums
or rhythm device through the Stamme[n].

And around the 11:22 mark I somehow harnessed the winds with the Stamme[n].
Which was very cool to manipulate with the Control knob. If only that power
extended into real life.

I'm really digging all the options available on tap. The Stamme[n] is a beast.

I'm happy that you talked to David about your pedal dreams and that that
conversation spurred David to create such a dynamic sound-generation device.

Such an inspiring pedal. So many sounds/textures/approaches available.

And if after watching the above animation anybody feels like rating it or
expressing an opinion about it, they can do so on IMDB.com

Against my better financial judgment I reallyyyy want one of these. Is there an ETA for the new batch?

David,

What is the longest and shortest sample lengths for the Stamme[n]?

Somebody was asking me this question on another forum and I couldn't
find the info in the manual. I seem to recall the max length being 1.5 seconds,
but maybe I am confusing it with some other pedal?

it's 1sec max. The minimum is some thing between 10ms or 50ms, don't remember precisely

Thanks, David!

Is the ETA for the new version of the Stamme[n] still for this month? Or...?

Yes, the office-speak false vocab of efficiency is a dastardly mind-cudgel.

Architecting and liaising and such with benchmarks in the pipeline.
