Despite saying I wouldn't look obsessively, I looked at my shipping + it moved towards me overnight, which I wasn't expecting for xmas eve.

I have a list of ideas I want to try, both for solo-drifty stuff and otherwise.
solo (mostly ambient): https://heraclitusakimbo.bandcamp.com/
duo (electroacoustic vibration exploration): https://wenderlypark.bandcamp.com/
trio (tapes/voice/clarinet/synth/poems): https://ourwaytofall.bandcamp.com/
band (spontaneous kosmische): https://stargoon.bandcamp.com/

I also help co-ordinate Okta, ILF's collaborative community ambient project: https://okta.bandcamp.com

Santa came today!

Listening to my first patch in action:

Image

Keyboard note taped down > 3-step sequence @ 16 bpm w random pitches and lovely sliding portamento

Plus long-loop delay + Bakvendt in the effects loop.

"Live" going to the R channel, delay going to the left... i could listen to this one note all day.

I haven't had as much time to putter with this as I was hoping yet, and my first efforts were all different sorts of random variations. I wanted to do something more deliberate with patterns + arpeggiations, so I asked my more musical friends for a source of ideas on that, which is how I ended up getting this from the library:

After flipping through that, I picked a phrase and plugged in a 16-step sequence. And then I send a pure drone through it: https://clyp.it/caheqgut

Next: polyphony!

Awesome! Great sequence.

It cracks me up how many people bought these to flip or didn't take the time to figure out because it's awesome.

A couple of questions about MM...I get all the step sequence stuff which is really cool.. but can it also easily cover what the POG2 does? Also, Is there an expression jack for doing whammy type stuff? Or better yet, can one of the foot switches be set up to do whammy bends like the pitchfork does? It'd be great if I could replace both of those and have the sequencer as icing on the cake.

Has anyone posted a source/‘database’ of different settings for this beast?

it can kind of do those things. You can have to voices and blend your dry into that.

you can assign the footswitch to do something like that. for example, set a two step sequence of your desired pitch interval, add step portamento and adjust to get the rise and fall you want, then trigger the pitch shifting with the manual advance footswitch.
