Just as a teaser, here's the artwork for the first 424 Studios short-run pedal. It's our take on the classic Fuzzrite circuit, with changes that we feel make it a more useful tool in your tonal arsenal.
Thanks to our good friend Morgan from Leila Vintage Electronics, we were made aware that many boutique Fuzzrite clones were missing a key resistor owing to a nearly correct schematic that was floating around. So we included that resistor in ours for true mojo vintage goodness, and whatnot.
We also decided we would include a toggle switch to enable two operating modes: Vintage and Useful. The stock circuit is a wee bit skewed to the high-end...which is cool and all, but we thought a more rounded out bottom end would be useful in many applications. So the choice between Vintage and Useful is left to the user. (note: this is a side toggle)
Look for these in fully finished and ready-to-acquire form in late June. Protos are in the works right now.
