Welcome to the SourceCheese page
Standard pricing for ILFers is £179

The SourceCheese is an interpretation of the classic concatenation of the Lovetone Brown Source Overdrive and Big Cheese fuzz AKA the CheeseSource
On one side, you have everything that is the Mecha Feta, and on the other side we have a modified Brown Source style Overdrive
These can be run into each other (standard setup in In > Cheese > Source > Out) or independantly using the Source In and Cheese Out jacks.
This means that you can essntially have two single pedals and with creative wiring place them at two points in your signal chain. Pretty neat!
You can also run it In > Source > Cheese > Out

Currently the SourceCheese has the following controls:

Right side

In - guitar input jack; connect guitar or output of another effect
DC Jack - 2.1mm barrel, tip negative 9v DC supply (Boss standard).

Left side

Out - connect to amplifier or input of another effect
Source In - independant input for the Source Overdrive side. Use in conjunction with Out, to simply use the pedal with only the Source side
Cheese Out - independant output for the Cheese Fuzz side. Use in conjunction with In, to simply use the pedal with only the Cheese side

Note* In normal circumstances, plug a lead into "In" and a lead into "Out" and you will have both sides of the pedal active, with the order being In > Fuzz > OD > Out
To run the channels in the other order, plug you guitar lead into "Source In", you amplifier to "Cheese Out" and patch a mono lead between "In" and "Out" jacks.

Main Panel Switches

Left Footswitch - Activates the Source Overdrive channel, indicated by the red status LED
Right Footswitch - Activates the Cheese Fuzz channel, indicated by the yellow status LED
Left Rotary - 4 postion tone switch for the Source Overdrive channel
Position 1 to Position 3 offer increasing levels of bass, with the tone control past 12o'clock (1 least bassy, 3 most bassy overdrive tone)
Position 4 - Twank! - On original Lovetone units, this was a tone bypass selection. On my pedal, this offers a different flavour of overdrive, which is quite different to the "brown" modes. Try it, you might like it!

Right Rotary - 4 position tone selection
- Position 1 - off - tone bypass - slightly louder, tone knob bypassed
- Position 2 - mid scoop, perfect for riffs and big power chords
- Position 3 - mid hump, boosted mids, great for solo's
- Position 4 - swiss cheese. The classic gated fuzz control. Gives all the broken speaker / crackly mess / atari 8bit type bleeps you could want

Main Panel knobs

Volume - Output control for the Source overdrive channel
Tone (Left) - Tone control for the Source overdrive channel
Gain - sets the level of drive / saturation of the overdrive
Whey - Output volume control. My version has the popular GGG mod to allow a significant output boost over unity gain! Same classic cheesey sounds, just louder.
Curds - Fuzz control. Sets the overall intensity/saturation of the fuzz in modes Off / Scoop / Hump, and controls decay/gating in the swiss cheese setting.
Tone (Right)- Big Muff type tone control for the Cheese fuzz channel with a wide sweep
