Welcome to the Doubel Ganger page!
Standard pricing for ILFers is £199

The Doubel Ganger is a recreation of the classic Doppelganger Dual LFO Phaser / Vibrato
This pedal offers a massive range of control to produce a plethora of classic phaser / rotary / vibe type tones
My Doubel Ganger is based on my original v4 (last and best revision produced by Lovetone) unit and features the extended Slow and Square LFO1 options from that model.
My Double Ganger is built in a pedalboard friendly Hammond case measuring 145mm x 121mm x 39mm

Currently, the Doubel Ganger has the following controls:

Right Side panel

In - guitar input jack; connect your instrument or the output of another effect
Ped1 - CV input for LFO 1 rate. Use a standard expression pedal to modulate the speed of LFO1
Ped2 - CV input for LFO 2 rate. Use a standard expression pedal to modulate the speed of LFO2
DC jack - 2.1mm barrel, tip negative 9v DC supply (Boss standard)
*note if you run it at significantly less than 9v the phase depth will be negatively affected.
Lovetone stated you can run at 12v for more headroom but I find 9v perfect.

Left Side panel

Out - connect to your amplifier or input of another effect

Main Panel switches

Left Footswitch - Switches between single and dual LFO. In single LFO mode, only LFO1 rate is active. In dual mode, both LFO1 and LFO2 rates are active
Centre Footswitch - Bypass. Turns the phasing on and off. Used in conjunction with the True/Spectral toggle. In True mode, your clean tone passes the unit unaffected in bypass state. In Spectral mode, your bypassed sound still passes through some phase circuitry so is "coloured" like the old Uni-Vibes from the 70's
Right Footswitch - Choose between vibrato and phaser modes. Phase mode illuminates the red LED, and mixes in your straight signal with the phased sound for a deeper, more pronounced effect.
Left "synch" Toggle - Chooses whether the LF and HF phasing occurs in or out of phase
Right "bypass" Toggle - see "Centre Footswitch", above.
Square Toggle - switches LFO from sine wave modulation to square wave modulation
Slow Toggle - adjusts the span of LFO1 rate control to allow super slow cycles of oscillation

Main Panel pots

LFO1 rate - controls the speed of oscillation for LFO1
LFO2 rate - controls the speed of oscillation for LFO2
LF Span - Controls the depth of the low frequency phasing. Depth is indicated by the brightness of the adjacent green LED
HF Span - Controls the depth of the high frequency phasing. Depth is indicated by the brightness of the adjacent green LED
note: in Dual LFO mode, LFO1 modulates the LF phasing, and LFO2 modulates the HF phasing. It is often more pleasing to the ear to set the synch toggle to "out of phase" when in Dual LFO mode.
Colour- Adjusts the resonance of the phasing
Blend - Blends the clean sound with the phased signal in Phase mode. In Vibrato mode, this acts as a global volume control. Fully clockwise is unity gain.
