BiasFX Bass Tone

Anyone use BiasFX and have a good bass tone setting? I can get great guitar tones with little effort, but struggle with a realistic bass tone.

I have some i like, I'll take screenshots when I get home.

One caveat is I use RedWirez cab impulses instead of the built in ones

that'd be great, thanks! never heard of redwirez, but ill check it out. i do find the cab emulation pretty bad, but at least its something.

Single channel path for clean, split path to add parallel distortion. Distorted bass amp has more mids and less lows. I enabled the cab simulation to show where I think the best mic placement for the bass cabs is. you can use whichever of the two mic models for the clean sound you wish but the 57 should be used on the distorted path cab.

thanks, ill try this tonight. i ran my rickenbacker through my gk400b, pre out to logic, and it sounded ok. but id still like to find something more lightweight, just within bias.

The base bass tone in this is Bias Fx, my bass is also controlling Thor via MIDImorphosis and flux:Fx is making some noise in the background.

I really like Softube Bass Amp Room for getting great bass tones since it lets you easily blend the DI signal in with the Amped signal. If I need more grind I blend in Kazrog Thermionik. The friedman model is sick for bass.
