Rough Jam Demo feat. EQD Hoof Reaper

Postby rhargis14 » Fri Feb 06, 2015 2:10 am

So I was feeling creative earlier today and I wrote this song. It's sort of sloppy but I wanted to get a recording of my idea for a song. Maybe with some sax in final version?

Drum Tracks and Bass Line and Organ Recorded in Garage band by me.
Guitar tracks were played Rveverend Six Gun>Hoof Reaper>Vox VT40+. I really only used the hoof reaper for the heavier rhythm guitar and solos. Also used clean tone of amp. :thumb:

Here's the track! I plan to revise and polish the lead and make the rhythm louder for a smoother demo.

Any tips on recording would help a lot, I have to use my phone since I'm at college right now. :grumpy:
Musical tips also are appreciated, but lets try to keep it civil? :idk:

Also, you might want to put on headphones so you can really hear the bass track! :whateva:

So I have a slightly cleaned up version of the song on my soundcloud now. I tweaked EQ a little. Guitar is still a bit sloppy though.

Please tell me what you think!
