Hmm, I’ve been using a Klone to un-doom my amp, which I set pretty flabby. The klone cuts the lows and adds a bunch of clank for chuggier bits.

I know a guy who used to do something like that. Ran his Bassman full out and stepped on the Klon when he wanted it quieter.

Almost snagged a used one of these last month but it slipped away.
last time i looked around the only demos were for bass, i'd love to hear it with guitar tho.

They can have a lot of gain, for sure, but they also have a ton of BOOST. The two combined into a proper amp and you can Judas Priest all day long.
