Anyone heard from Hex Electrics?

My buddy ordered a Hex Micro T a while back and has been told by Hex for a few months that his amp is the next one to go out, but they stopped responding to him a while ago. Anybody had any contact with them or hear if they're just having some difficulties or something?

I put in a request to order a micro t about 2 or 3 months ago. I have still not gotten a response. In the meantime I picked up a Blackhawk Odin and it has been pretty damn great.

Good call on the Odin. Blackhawk was kind enough to loan me his HEL prototype, which I used in lieu of the Micro T. Blackhawk is truly the best.

Paid a deposit of $1400 down on a Model X last August or Sept. Was told by Gentry that they would be done in Feb. At the end of February I sent an email asking what the status was and was met with a reply from ned that he didn't know anything about a run of Model X or Micro Ts. Said he would bang it out as fast as he could. Got a few emails from him on updates with the build. he said there was a delay because of something with the transformer covers or something. He finally sent me a pic of the completed amp and that he was dropping them off to Gentry for the headshell. A month goes by and I emailed Gentry and nothing other than its the first one going out as soon as they are done. Sent an email last month on the 27th asking for an update and he said that he built a new shop so he could build the headshells. I'm going to email him tomorrow and if i don't get an "Its out the door" with a legit tracking number I'm going to ask for my money back. This shit is fucking ridiculous. i know shit happens and delays are always happening but the lack of communication from Gentry is starting to piss me off.

Yeah, Nick has been told basically the same thing with the Micro T, that he was waiting on a headshell and that his was the first to go out, but that was over a month ago with no communication since.

Yup. Paid deposit in February and it was supposed to take no longer than a month. Paid in full plus shipping in March. In April I was told it would be out the door asap. In June I got a message that Gentry would be out for a few weeks but would try and get it out before then. Nothing since. Incredibly frustrating. Just zero communication skills.

Got an email with pictures of my mostly complete Micro T this evening. The wait is almost over!

Did it have the headshell? I got a message from Ned about 2 months ago with the amp portion finished. he was dropping them off with Gentry the next day. Ned replied in under 3 minutes on facebook saying that he hasn't talked to him in a few weeks but was supposed to be dropping off 3 more amps to him in the next few days. He apologized for the lack of communication and said that Gentry should get his shit straight and stop promising unrealistic timelines, especially when he didn't know anything about another run.

I have been on the list for a micro t since last September. I heard from him in February that I was next in line. I waited a few months and asked about it and he said it's all wired up and ready to go but he hasn't responded to me since and that was in April. It's very frustrating trying to get a response from Gentry. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has experienced this because I thought he was dodging me because I asked him to many questions or something.

They showed a picture of a headshell, and basically said everything is done, but we haven't put the amp in the headshell and mounted it.

Got the run around some more and he didn't remember us talking about things that he could have scrolled up to see. I just asked for my money back because I'm tired of waiting. Supposedly 3 to 5 more weeks but the lack of communication on their end is straight up fucky. I'll just get a Matamp instead.

I've heard reference to an Odin 20 but all I can find online is the Odin 120. Is there a small Blackhawk amp too?
