You know, they also sell reverb pedals for that.

Oh I know. But I feel like it makes more sense to use what's onboard and save my (minimal) extra gear budget for other stuff. One less thing to obsess over (gods know I have plenty else for that). Plus it just feels right to restore the amp to full working order.
