Educate me on some good shit that has come out this year. I just reactivated my Spotify account and am seriously lacking in new releases.

And the new HoF drops in like a month.

Lord Dying
Midnight Ghost Train
Black Pussy
Stoned Jesus
Royal Thunder
Torche

+1 on UFOMAMMUT

Also, my friends band (who lurks here sometimes) the Highest Leviathan put out their debut, they opened for UFOMAMMUT and Elder when they came through town.

Also the new Goatsnake leaked. And I read good things about the album Pathways by Secrets of the Sky. Haven't given either a listen yet.

Elder posted on their fb page a while back about Weedpecker. Checked out their 2015 album, and am certainly impressed. Pretty chill stoner rock/metal with laid back reverbed out parts followed by muffy fuzzy goodness.

Oh shit, I forgot about that Weedpecker album. I really dig that one. I also totally spaced on Acid King. Derp.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'll certainly be checking out the ones I haven't heard.

I spaced on the Acid King because I preordered it like 2 months ago and it still hasn't show up. Great album, though.

That Weedpicker record is really good so far, too.
