Zoroaster

Anyone know what these guys are up to? The last I heard from them was an in-studio teaser, like a year or two ago.

I haven't heard anything in a while. After the bassist left and formed Order of the Owl I thought they had thrown in the towel. :idk:

They kept going with a new bassist, saw them play ~3 years ago. They've been dormant since then as far as I can tell

Yeah, I think there was even some speculation that Brent might come back at some point. Maybe Order of the Owl put an end to that prospect.

OotO > Zoroaster. All I likes from Zoroaster was their first 4 song demo.

I'll agree with that statement. I've always thought Zoroaster was boring. I never got the hype around them. Even when they were playing with the wall of vintage gear it wasn't loud how everyone had been beating into my head. We played with them in nola and their tone was great but ours was great and we were louder using half the amount. we ran Ampeg SS's full rigs and my B4R and 810

I dig the classic rock vibe of Royal Thunder big time, personally. I understand not being a big fan.

I feel you. And I can see why no care on Royal Thunder based on that classic rock vibe. I think I ended up enjoying them because I saw them live and had a good time. Good shit.
